# Ragdoll Robot Boxing Guide

Finish the **Boot Camp** tutorial, redeem every code, then fight bots in this order: **Medium → Hard → Champion**,
before taking on players. Most players stall early: 79% have won a fight but only 1.8% have reached 10 wins.

## Your first session
Ragdoll Robot Boxing drops you in a hub with 10 rings. Walk up to a ring to start a fight against a player or a bot. The first 15 minutes should go like this:

- **Do Boot Camp.** The tutorial teaches ducking, weaving, blocking, hooks, uppercuts and your robot's special move, and awards the Boot Camp badge (89% of players have it).

- **Redeem the codes.** The active [Ragdoll Robot Boxing codes](https://ragdoll-robot-boxing-wiki.app/codes/) add up to 800 Gears, 15 Spins and 86 Lucky Spins.

- **Spin before you grind.** Your starting robot is the weakest you will own. See [robots and spins](https://ragdoll-robot-boxing-wiki.app/robots/) for rarities and garage slots.

- **Pick one robot and keep it** while you learn. Every robot has a different special move, and switching mid-practice makes it harder to tell what is working.

## Bot ladder: Easy to Champion
Each bot level has its own badge, so Roblox's badge records show how many players have beaten each one.
1
### Easy bot
28%
of players have beaten it (52,746) · badge: Rookie Trainer
Learn the controls and how far your punches reach.

2
### Medium bot
39%
of players have beaten it (78,803) · badge: Sparring Partner
Practise blocking and counter-punching after the bot swings.

3
### Hard bot
9.4%
of players have beaten it (22,061) · badge: Bot Breaker
Learn to recover after a knockdown and time your special.

4
### Champion bot
9.6%
of players have beaten it (22,756) · badge: Champion Slayer
Full fight under pressure; the last step before ranked players.

**What the numbers suggest:** more players have beaten Medium than Easy, and Champion has nearly the same share as Hard.
In practice that means Easy is optional and the jump from Hard to Champion is smaller than the name suggests.

## Fighting basics
Every punch is simulated with physics, so where and when you hit matters more than how fast you click. Damage shows as dents exactly where a robot is struck.

### Block, then punish
Blocking right as the opponent commits leaves them open. Throw your hook or uppercut into that gap rather than trading blows.

### Duck and weave
Moving your head out of the way costs nothing and turns their miss into your opening. Use it against bots that throw big hooks.

### Save the special
Your special is your strongest move. Use it when the opponent is already hurt — knocking someone down with it earns Special Delivery (42%).

### Get back up
A knockdown is not a loss. Only 14% of players have won after being knocked down, against 43% who have scored a knockdown — staying calm after a fall is a real edge.

These tips are editorial advice drawn from the official game description and badge requirements, not from frame data.

## Getting to 10 wins (Contender)
Contender is where most players stop: 2,963 players have it out of 372,799 who have joined. To get there:

- Count bot wins too: they are fights, and the cheapest wins are against Medium and Hard bots.

- Chain wins for **Hot Streak** (5 in a row) on the way — 4.5% of players have it.

- Upgrade your robot with the Gears from codes before you start losing to players; the [shop page](https://ragdoll-robot-boxing-wiki.app/shop/) shows what Gears buy.

## Questions

### Which bot should I fight first in Ragdoll Robot Boxing?
Start with Medium if you have finished Boot Camp. Roblox badge data shows 39% of players have beaten Medium against 28% for Easy, so most players skip Easy without trouble.

### Is the Champion bot harder than the Hard bot?
By the badge numbers they are close: 9.6% of players have beaten Champion and 9.4% have beaten Hard. Once you can beat Hard, try Champion straight away.

### Does a knockdown win the fight?
No. A knockdown and a win are separate: Lights Out tracks your first knockdown and First Blood tracks your first win. A knocked-down robot can get up and keep fighting, which is what Back From the Dead rewards.
